Estate Planning - Wills and Trusts

Before we die we all need to consider and address what is going to become of our estate (our assets and liabilities) when we die. This is called “estate planning” and involves the making of a will to provide for succession.

Estate planning may also involve the establishment of a will trust – a trust which is to come into existence upon the death of the will maker. Estate planning may also involve the establishment of a family trust – a trust which comes into existence during one’s life time.
