Family & Property Law

Buchanan Gray are experts in all aspects of Family and Property Law including separations and relationship issues, adoptions, care of children and guardianship matters, maintenance, relationship property and property disputes generally, domestic violence, paternity and dissolution of marriage.

In addition, our 2 partners Annette Gray and Russell Buchanan are both accredited and experienced Family Dispute Resolution (FDR) mediators.
At Buchanan Gray we have a particular interest in the protection of personal and property rights for the disadvantaged, vulnerable and/or elderly members of our society. We provide advice and representation when you need to go to Court to acquire Welfare Guardianship or Property Management for a person who has lost the capacity to understand and deal with their own welfare and/or property management. This may be on behalf of a person who has had a disability from birth or on behalf of a person who has acquired a disability through illness, injury or old age.

We also assist clients to put in place Enduring Powers of Attorney for both Welfare and Property. By creating Enduring Powers of Attorney you can ensure that if you lose the capacity to make decisions for yourself, there is a trusted person of your own choice empowered to make appropriate decisions for you. If you want to know how much it will cost to have Enduring Powers of Attorney created for you, check out our fixed fees.

No problem is too big or too small – for a confidential discussion about your matter contact Buchanan Gray today.
